Last day of summer!

I was hoping to spend my last day of summer well, and I think I managed very well.
Today has been so wonderful. I got to hang out with Lauren and Sam all day, even though they are technically 3 hrs away. Thank you very much FaceTime!

First we went to the Tandy leather factory store. After that we hung out in Sam's studio and worked on tack all evening. I finally finished my new and improved bareback pad.

We all tried our hand at making braided reins ad they turned out pretty well.

Sam has been working on this beautiful set and finished it today with the exception of a few small details:

Today has been a lot of fun:)

Not so mundane Monday

So today I tackled the task of switching my shelves.
They started off like this.
So many horses on my bed!

And ended up like this.

My studio(room too) is a total mess right now; I'm hoping to get it cleaned soon.

Tonight was filled with fun tack experimenting while on FaceTime with my friend Sam. It was a lot of fun; she worked on her first go at braided reins and I made bits for the first time ever.

I think they turned out pretty well:)

My workspace was clean, but now it's an absolute mess... Oh well!

Summer Fun at an end

Lots of updating to do! First off, I have been gone for the past month and that is why I disappeared:( I really missed making tack and being in the model horse world; Im back though and excited to try some new tack pieces:)

 Rope halters are now available:)

The two above pictures are from one of my customers; thanks for the pictures!:)

They come in many colors:

(Above) I had a great birthday spent with Lauren and Sam(my horse crazy and Breyer loving best friends) and ended up with some new supplies!

First ever KNB Studios picture contest was a huge success. Above are the three winners. Thank you all who entered. Be on the lookout for another one soon!

Racing set is still as is... I really need to get to work on the bridle.

During my summer travels I ended up in my hometown and visited the local toy store. They used to have a wide variety of Breyer horses and accessories for sale, so I was a little shocked when I got there and the shelves no longer held Breyers. I asked about it, and they said all the ones they had left would be on the clearance rack in the back. I found all of these in the picture and bargained for them paying a total of $55... Such a great find!
